Kelsey Kupitz was born in Des Moines, Iowa. At age 17, she graduated early and spent the next ten years traveling. She met her husband abroad and they now live together with their daughters, cats, and chaos demon dog.

In January 2021, she self-published her first novella, The Right Thing. She is signed with her literary agent, Rebecca Scherer, at Jane Rotrosen Agency. In summer 2026, her debut novel, Backstabbers, under pen name Eliza Jabore will be published by Sphere and Bantam.
